A Weekend in Belgrade

How to spend 3 days in Belgrade

Arrival in Belgrade

Go to the taxi information stand and they will give you a ticket and bring you to the taxis with the regular prices (About 1800 Dinar).

Hotels in Belgrade

Hotels are not too expensive in Belgrade. I booked the Art Hotel (www.belgradearthotel.com). It is just super central. If you want a fancy hotel go to square nine (www.squarenine.rs). Very cool hotel with great view and roof top.

    Restaurants & Clubs in Belgrade

Restaurants in Belgrade are great. Food is super delicious, especially the meat. These are my favourite restaurants in Belgrade:

    • Dijagonala 2.0 (Skerlićeva 6, Beograd 11000, Serbia). Modern cuisine with fantastic meet and bar in the evening. Very close to Saint Sava Church
    • Frans (Bulevar oslobođenja 18a, Beograd 11000, Serbia). Typical Serbian Food - just amazing

At the Sava River there is a building called Beton. It has really cool restaurants like:

    • SAKURA
    • Cantina de Frida (!) - stay a bit longer, there is great live music
    • Toro (!) - just amazing
    • Breakfast at Sofa
    • I have not been to this restaurant yet, but it was recommended from so many sides. Next time I am in Belgrade I will go to the restaurant Tri šešira
    • Terminal must be great as well

    Clubbing

    Terassa, Freestyler or Lasta

    Sightseeing

I like sightseeing, but I always stick to the top 3 highlights and use the rest of the time just strolling around in the city. The 3 must-sees are:

    • Saint Sava Church
    • Nikola Tesla Museum
    • Kalemegdan - Fortress
