Why I don't do coffee

If you're reading this, chances are I shared this link with you in response to your message. First off, thank you for reaching out!

However, I strongly believe that there are more efficient communication methods than coffee meetings. I receive about three to four requests for coffee per week, which I can’t possibly all say yes to. In order for me to reach my Olympic goals, run my startup well, and have time for family and friends, I decided to keep my schedule clear.

Now, I do know that you reached out with a question. That's why I've put together some resources that might just have the answers you're looking for:

1. Listen to this 8-minute Snipd (in Swiss German) to learn how to get a meeting with any busy person.

2. I've created a completely free podcast series for startups that answers almost all questions.

3. If you haven’t found what you’re looking for, I'm happy to answer your questions via email

In your email, please tell me:

  • A bit about yourself and your background.

  • Something of value you’d like to share upfront :)

  • The problem you're facing.

  • Three possible solutions you've thought of.

  • Your preferred solution.

  • Your WhatsApp number.

  • How urgent it is.

4. If you think you can’t get your answers via email, feel free to schedule a paid call. I don’t take unscheduled calls. If I don’t provide the expected value during our meeting, of course, I’ll refund your money.

5. Curious about what I do instead of coffee meetups? Who inspires me, how I simplify my life, and what I have to share from over 20 years as a (successful and failed) entrepreneur?

I send out a newsletter once a month – no spam, just as much value as possible. You can read last month’s newsletter here and subscribe if you like.

Also, listen to Naval Ravikant’s take on this. He explains it much better.
